James Wesley & The Twang Bangers
On June 3, 2010, popular country music star James Wesley played at Capone's in downtown Johnson City. James Wesley is best known for his songs "Real," "Jackson Hole," and "Didn't I," all of which reached the top 50 on the U.S. country charts. The Twang Bangers met Wesley in Nashville and invited him to play a show with them at home in the Tri-Cities. Our photo album from the show can be found here. We also took some video of Wesley performing Johnny Cash's famous "Folsom Prison Blues."
Part of the Twang Bangers great set list included Joe Diffie's "John Deere Green" and Tom Petty's "Free Fallin'."
